My main focus

Our story goes back to November 1st 1987. Jan van Amelsvoort and I were collegues. Our employer went bankrupt and this triggered us to start our company. I was 25. For almost 20 years Jan and I worked together as partners in business. Jan was a magnificent technical leader. I have a different skillset, with a specialisation in organisational psychology. Just before his retirement in 2004, in quite difficult times business wise, I asked myself the question: "How to rebuild our company and create succes again? In 2006 with a total staff of 8, I relocated the company to Eindhoven and decided to redefine our story.

My main focus from then up to today:

“Create a world where talented technolology professionals​ can grow, develop and get inspired.”

This focus brought us futher than I ever imagined. In the Settels Savenije world we aim for: transparancy, integrity, investing in our social and leadership skills, minimising internal politics, professional teamwork and helping each other out. It motivates talented people to come and work for us. Their technical skillset is world class. Our focus combined with the technical skill set of our teams is key to our succes. One cannot survive without the other. I am convinced it will always be.
